  Trust me, you deserve better than what Bennett has to offer. Extremely high prices - You're basically setting your money on fire the moment you agree to give Bennett your business. Bennett has *by far* the highest prices anywhere (whether or not you use insurance). Awful customer service - Granted, the staff put on a friendly guise. Aside from that, however, there is no actual desire on the part of the company to ensure customer satisfaction. The company is completely inflexible in the face of any concerns you may raise. I've been nickel-and-dimed more than once after Bennett had misled me, with respect to both eye exams and eyewear purchases. In Bennett's mind, the situation is remedied as long as they've secured your money; if you're not happy or feel cheated, well, that's just too bad. Do yourself a favor and just don't go to Bennett. I don't care how convenient the downtown location may be. You're better off getting a Costco membership *purely* to use its optical center. You'll likely save a few hundred bucks in the process (even if Bennett takes your insurance and Costco doesn't!)

  Very helpful and friendly staff. Quick and easy exam and finding and fitting of new frames. Prices are in line with any other optical store. Sure you can buy they Ray Ban frames I got online for $30-$50 cheaper but it's not worth the hassle for me to go through all that. I prefer to try things on in person and just get it done with. I will continue to come here because of the great experience I had with them.

  I had a very pleasant experience recently getting myself sunglasses that I love! Great staff that really make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door!

  They'll try to hold your prescription and not give it out. This is illegal, know your rights. They are required to give this out. If they say they don't have your records, call them out on it. They are required to keep them for 7 years. I've seen other reviews where they are doing this exact same thing. Just don't believe their bullshit and demand your prescription history.
